Following the Swiss seminar at the start of the new year, we continued our jodo journey in February with a weekend seminar in Budapest led by René sensei. Na 31. majstrovstvách Európy v Iaidó naši členovia nadviazali na úspechy z predchádzajúcich 3 šampionátov. Tento rok tvorili slovenskú výpravu 6 členovia Hikari dódžo. Keď sme sa minulý rok dozvedeli, že majstrovstvá 2024 sa uskutočnia vo švédskom Göteborgu, všetci sme sa potešili a nádejali sa, že letecké spojenie Košice – Göteborg bude v prevádzke. Posledný októbrový víkend sa uskutočnil v našom dódžó seminár zameraný na džódó pod vedením nášho učiteľa Mariána. Pre niektorých našich členov to bol prvý seminár, ktorý sa mal zakončiť skúškami na základné stupne. Počas obidvoch dní sa prešli precízne všetky techniky tandoku dosa, sotai dosa, veľa doplňujúcich cvičení a samozrejme aj kata. Zakončiť horúce leto seminárom je vždy dobrý nápad. Džódó seminár s René senseiom z Holandska je vždy zárukou získavania nových poznatkov, intenzívneho tréningu ale aj zábavy. Hneď v sobotu sme sa poriadne zapotili. Okrem základných kihonov nám sensei ukázal aj dodatočné cvičenia, ktoré pomáhajú pochopiť a zlepšiť zrážacie techniky.
