On a warm weekend in June, the annual Kensei Iaido Taikai 2025 took place in Prague, featuring both a high-level seminar and a competition. The event was led by three distinguished instructors, all 7th dan holders, representing Greece, Switzerland, and Austria. We spent the third weekend of May in Belgrade, Serbia, attending an international iaido seminar combined with a competition. This year’s seminar featured an exceptionally strong lineup, with the organizers inviting three holders of the 7th dan, which created excellent conditions for learning and exchanging experiences. As part of the annual Kosice City Day celebrations, which traditionally take place at the turn of April and May, we had the opportunity to attend a very special event – the grand opening of the new MarathonPoint space, located right on Main Street. This place is not only a meeting point, but also a tribute to the rich history of the International Peace Marathon. MarathonPoint priamo na Hlavnej ulici. On the second weekend of April, we had the pleasure of attending an international iaido seminar in the Belgian city of Roeselare. Practitioners from seven European countries gathered for an enriching weekend of training, and our dojo was proudly represented by Marián and Adriana.
