As part of the annual Kosice City Day celebrations, which traditionally take place at the turn of April and May, we had the opportunity to attend a very special event – the grand opening of the new MarathonPoint space, located right on Main Street. This place is not only a meeting point, but also a tribute to the rich history of the International Peace Marathon. MarathonPoint priamo na Hlavnej ulici. On the second weekend of April, we had the pleasure of attending an international iaido seminar in the Belgian city of Roeselare. Practitioners from seven European countries gathered for an enriching weekend of training, and our dojo was proudly represented by Marián and Adriana. Stäfa, a charming Swiss town nestled on the shores of Lake Zurich and just under a half-hour train ride from the city of Zurich, carries a name inspired by the Scottish island of Stäfa. Following the Swiss seminar at the start of the new year, we continued our jodo journey in February with a weekend seminar in Budapest led by René sensei. True to his warm and lively nature, René sensei greeted us with a cheerful pirouette, a delightful surprise, especially considering it had only been two months since his hip replacement surgery. Decembrové výlety hikaristov do Prahy sa pomaly, ale isto stávajú tradíciou. Aj tento rok sa na Kensei Iaidó Seishin vybrala pätica členov Hikari dódžó. Traja, Serhii, Vincent a Marek, na svoje prvé skúšky, Adriana mala v pláne dobre si na seminári pod vedením 6.danov zacvičiť a Marián bol opäť pozvaný ako učiteľ a člen skúšobnej komisie. Po roku na prelome novembra a decembra Marián s Adrianou opäť zavítali do najcyklistickejšieho mesta v Holandsku a možno aj v Európe. Tretíkrát po sebe sa zúčastnili už tradičného džódó koryu seminára vedeného René senseiom, jediným nejaponským 8.danom. Piatok večer  patril wellcome keiko, ktorého sa zúčastnilo pár ľudí, ktorí sa kvôli dopravným možnostiam dostavili do Utrechtu deň pred oficiálnym seminárom, aby sa rozohriali pri kihonoch a oprášili vedomosti z kenjutsu.
